Ryle High School quarterback Tanner Morgan has been to the University of Louisville several times. The Class of 2017 prospect holds an offer from the Cardinals and made a return trip last weekend.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Morgan tells Cardinal Authority he loved the trip to see the Cardinals' play Samford. Louisville won its first game of the season with a 45-3 decision in the contest.
"I really enjoyed the trip and the atmosphere was incredible," Morgan said.
The three-star prospect, who also holds offers from Wake Forest and Cincinnati, has also made a trip to Indiana and has plans to head to Purdue, Illinois and has been chatting with Vanderbilt and Michigan State.
But he said Louisville is high on his list.
"Coach (Garrick) McGee and I talked at the game about how our season is going and how I need to continue to grow mentally so I can be well prepared for the college game," Morgan said. "It was a great visit."
Ryle is 5-0 on the season and Morgan has completed 80 of 127 passes for 1,286 yards and 10 touchdowns with just three interceptions. He has also run for 155 yards and two TDs.
Morgan camped at Louisville last summer after picking up the offer from the Cardinals in late May.
