Junior college cornerback Ronald Walker will make an official visit to Louisville this weekend

Wesson, Miss., Copiah-Lincoln Community College cornerback Ronald Walker will make an official visit to the University of Louisville this weekend. Walker had originally committed to Mississippi when he was in high school at Jackson, Miss., Callaway. He's considered one of the top junior college players in the country.

The University of Louisville football staff will host a big-time official visitor this weekend.

Wesson, Miss., Copiah-Lincoln Community College cornerback Ronald Walker, who originally committed to Mississippi when he was in high school, will be making his official visit to Louisville this weekend.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Walker confirmed to Cardinal Authority that he will arrive in town on Friday.

"Yes, sir looking forward to it," Walker said in a text message.

Walker is also looking at Iowa State, Mississippi State, Arizona and Illinois among others. He attended Jackson, Miss., Callaway High School and was a top prospect in the state of Mississippi but ended up going the JUCO route.

In five games this season, Walker has 15 tackles, four pass break ups and one interception.

Walker told Scout.com recently he wants to make a commitment "before the end of his season." Co-Lin is 7-2 on the season.

He's being recruited by U of L cornerback coach Terrell Buckley.
