The University of Louisville football team will host a familiar foe on Saturday.
The Cardinals will take on former Big East foe Syracuse for the 14th time in school history as the two teams collide in an Atlantic Coast Confernece game at 12:30 p.m. in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
Louisville (4-4) holds a 7-6 record all-time against the Orange, including a 28-6 victory last season at the Carrier Dome. The Cardinals have won four of the last five meetings and two in a row at PJCS.
The last time the Orange beat U of L in Louisville was a stunning 38-35 victory in 2007 - the year after the Orange Bowl. The Cardinals won 10-9 in Louisville in '09 and 27-10 in '11 at home.
U of L coach Bobby Petrino is 4-0 all-time against Syracuse.
