Blake Asher, OL-DE, Leslie County

  • Leslie County finished the regular season with an 8-2 record after a 38-33 loss to Whitley County.

Robbie Bell, OL, Hoschton, Ga., Mill Creek

  • Mill Creek is now 9-0  on the season after a 24-0 win over Norcross. Plays Peachtree Ridge and two U of L commits (Buchanan and Staples) this weekend.

Michael Boykin, DE, Carrollton, Ga.

  • Boykin didn’t play in a 20-10 loss to Sandy Creek.

T.J. Brunson, LB, Columbia, S.C., Richland Northeast

  • Brunson helped Richland Northeast clinch a playoff spot for the first time since 2011 after a 32-28 win over Lower Richland.

Baylen Buchanan, CB, Suwanee, Ga., Peachtree Ridge

  • Buchanan averages three tackles a game and has three picks on the season; Peachtree Ridge beat Collins Hill 28-13 last week.

Rodjay Burns, WR-S, Trinity

  • The Shamrocks were off last week; will play PRP in the playoffs on Friday.

Austin Cummins, TE, Stevenson, Ala., North Jackson

  • Cummins had two catches for 30 yards and one TD in a 34-33 loss to East Limestone.

Seth Dawkins, WR, Columbus, Ohio, Franklin Heights

  • Franklin Heights finished the season 1-9 (3 forfeits) with a 52-41 win over Big Walnut.

James DeMatto, OL, Marietta, Ga., Kell

  • DeMatto had one tackle, one forced fumble and one QB hurry in a 35-0 win over Sprayberry.

Derek Dorsey, DT, Manual

  • Dorsey finished the regular season with 43 tackles; Manual went 8-2 after a 35-17 win over Eastern.

Desmond Fitzpatrick, WR, Waterford, Mich., Mott

  • Mott lost 42-6 in the first round of the playoffs to Catholic Central; Fitzpatrick had seven catches for 92 yards. In 10 games this season, Fitzpatrick finished with 60 catches for 1,317 yards and 23 touchdowns. On defense, he had seven interceptions and returned two for TDs.

Jaquelle Green, S, Biloxi, Miss., D’Iberville

  • Green threw for 71 yards and rushed for 35 yards and one TD in a 21-17 loss to Harrison Central.

Austin Johnson, P, DeSales

  • Johnson rushed 10 times for 77 yards and one TD, kicked a field goal and three extra points in a 40-13 win over Southern.

Tylin Oden, QB, Columbia, Tenn., Spring Hill

  • Oden rushed for 130 yards and two TDs and had a 52-yard TD pass in a 35-21 win over Lawrence County; Spring Hill finished 3-7 and missed the playoffs.

Jawon Pass, QB, Columbus, Ga., Carver

  • Pass helped Carver clinch the regional title with a 28-25 win over Northside; Pass had one TD rushing, one TD passing and a two-point conversion.

Tabarius Peterson, DE, Tucker, Ga.

  • Tucker has won three in a row after a 31-21 win over Lovejoy.

Malik Staples, RB, Suwanee, Ga., Peachtree Ridge

  • No stats available in Peachtree Ridge’s 28-13 win over Collins Hill.

Chris Taylor-Yamanoha, WR, Rohnert Park, Calif., Rancho Cotate

  • Taylor-Yamanoha had six catches for 135 yards and two touchdowns, carried one time for 60 yards and had four tackles and one interception as Rancho Cotate beat Ukiah 56-13.

Lamarques Thomas, S, Clinton, Miss.

  • Thomas averages 5.1 tackles a game this season; Clinton whipped Greenville 41-14.

Caleb Tillman, DE, Northview, Ala., High

  • No stats available; Northview lost 35-21 to Charles Henderson, start playoffs this week.

Keion Wakefield, WR, Male

  • Wakefield didn’t play in a 56-0 win over Western; he has played in four games and has seven catches for 131 yards and two TDs.
