Defense and a spark from Kyle Bolin were all the Louisville football team needed.
The Cardinals got three more turnovers, including an interception return for a touchdown, from the defense and three touchdowns and a season-high 362 yards passing from Bolin in a 41-17 win over Syracuse.
Starting in place of injured freshman Lamar Jackson, Bolin completed 24 of 35 passes with an interception for the Cardinals (5-4, 4-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), who have won five of their past six games and three in a row.
Brandon Radcliff added a season-high 117 yards on 10 carries, while Jeremy Smith rushed 13 times for 71 yards and a TD.
John Wallace added two field goals and is now the school's all-time leader in that category with 62.
