One-time Louisville commitment David Reese has continued to express his interest in the Cardinals program despite flipping his decision to Michigan following a scholarship offer from the Wolverines last April.
Reese's interest in U of L continued over the weekend as he made another trip south to the Derby City for the team's final home game of the season.
"It was great," his father David Reese, Sr., told Cardinal Authority.
Having made multiple visits to Louisville, this trip had more a specific agenda. In addition to attending the Cardinals 38-31 win over Virginia, Reese spent time meeting with school academic advisers.
"Really enjoyed the game atmosphere and a great opportunity to spend time watching the defense live," he said. "He also had time to meet with academic people to see the system of support.
"We spent time with the entire defensive coaching staff, mainly Coach Grantham, but game days are rushed visits, so the main thing was to get a few academic questions answered."
Reese is currently considered a soft verbal to Michigan, but in addition to Louisville, he's also still considering scholarship offers from Florida, Nebraska, TCU and Texas.
Scout.com ranks Reese as the No.10 inside linebacker prospect in the nation.
