Quarterback Tylin Oden remains committed to Louisville after a weekend visit to the campus

Columbia, Tenn., Spring Hill High School quarterback Tylin Oden made his official visit to the University of Louisville last weekend. Oden said he's still committed to the Cardinals but it waiting to see if any other school recruits him.

Tylin Oden is still committed to the University of Louisville.

The Columbia, Tenn., Spring Hill High School quarterback confirmed his commitment after making an official visit to the U of L campus last weekend, but there is a bit of a twist in the recruitment.

Oden said to call him a "soft" commitment.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound Oden said he never de-committed from the Cardinals and "really enjoyed" his official visit. But Oden, who said he has no other official visits set up, has picked up interest recently from Ohio State and LSU.

"It went well (at Louisville)," Oden said. "Meeting the coaches and players and just getting an understanding of their perspective."

As a senior at Spring Hill, Oden accounted for more than 4,000 total yards of offense for a 3-7 squad. He was named as the region's Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.
