Louisville holds WKU to 2-for-18 from three-point range, takes Toppers down 78-56 on Saturday at Yum Center

Four players scored in double figures as the University of Louisville basketball team decked Western Kentucky 78-56 on Saturday at the KFC Yum Center. Quentin Snider led the Cardinals with 16 points, four assists and four rebounds. Here are a few videos:

University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino told his team the competition was going to get better on Saturday when the Cardinals hosted Western Kentucky at the KFC Yum Center.

But the outcome was much of the same.

The Cardinals lead the country in margin of victory and rolled over Western Kentucky 78-56 before 21,606 fans at the KFC Yum Center as four players scored in double figures for U of L (9-1).

Sophomore Quentin Snider led the way with 16 points, four assists and four steals, while Trey Lewis added 15 points and Damion Lee had 15 points, six rebounds, four steals and three assists.

Chinanu Onuak had 10 points and 12 rebounds, while Mangok Mathiang went out and suffered a broken bone in his foot. He will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks, according to Pitino.

Fredrick Edmond led WKU (6-5) with 14 points and eight rebounds.

Louisville now leads the series 40-39 all-time, the first lead for the Cardinals since the 1932 season.
