Former Cardinal quarterback great accounted for five touchdowns in Minnesota's 38-17 win over Chicago

Former Louisville quarterback great Teddy Bridgewater was near perfect on Sunday

Teddy Bridgewater, one of the best to play quarterback at the University of Louisville, had his best outing a professional on Sunday, guiding the Minnesota Vikings to a 38-17 win over Chicago.

Bridgewater completed 17 of 20 attempts for 231 yards and four touchdowns.  He also rushed for a 12-yard fourth quarter touchdown to help the Vikings win for the first time in a month.

A first round pick in 2014, Bridgewater is now 10-4 as an NFL starter.  In his second season in Minneapolis, he has throw for 2,964 yards and 13 touchdowns, while rushing for an additional three scores.

During his three-year career at Louisville, the Miami native garnered multiple All-American honors while leading the Cardinals to bowl victories over Florida in the Sugar and Miami in the Russell Athletic.
