Trey Lewis led Louisville with 17 points in victory

Trey Lewis scored 17 points to lead Louisville to a 75-47 win over UMKC to improve to 10-1.

For the tenth time this season, Louisville defeated it's opponent by more than 20 points, with its last victim, UKMC, falling 75-47 in the Billy Minardi Classic at the KFC Yum! Center.

The Cardinals were led by graduate student Trey Lewis, who scored in double figures for a seventh consecutive outing with a game-high 17 points.  Fellow graduate transfer Damion Lee added 14 points, with Chinanu Onuaku, Jaylen Johnson and Donovan Mitchell each scoring 10.

Tuesday marked the fourth time this season Louisville has limited an opponent to 14 or fewer made field goals. It was also the fourth time the Cardinals have held an opponent to less than 30 percent from the field.

Led by Onuaku's five, the Cardinals equaled a season high with nine blocked shots, the third time they have reached that total.

Up next for the Cardinals is Utah Valley University on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the KFC Yum! Center.
