It was a busy day for University of Louisville commitment Rodjay Burns of Trinity High School.
The standout safety/wide receiver had a visit from Ohio State on Thursday morning and then hosted Louisville offensive coordinator Garrick McGee and new secondary coach Keith Heyward in the afternoon.
Burns will make an official visit to U of L this weekend, while Ohio State has been recruiting him hard in recent weeks and he'll take a trip to Columbus, Ohio, next weekend.
"It was all good," Burns reported.
Burns was the first prospect Heyward, who was introduced to the media on Thursday morning, visited. He went with McGee and Burns said the chat with the two U of L coaches was "really good."
"From what I know, he's a great coach," Burns said of Heyward. "He's more of a teacher than a coach. But as a person, it was my first time meeting him, but he seems like a very good guy. He seemed like a good guy."
Burns said Heyward gave him a "good vibe."
McGee and Burns have talked "a whole lot," according to the player and the visit from McGee was "just to check up."
"He's a great guy, I like the Louisville staff," Burns said. "Ohio State just came in to talk about college life and about the visit. I'm visiting Louisville this Saturday and Ohio State next weekend. And that's the only two schools."
Burns said he's still committed to Louisville but after both visits will sit down and chat with his family to "just make sure."
