Georgia linebacker Tobias Little gives commitment to Louisville; is the No. 21 commitment in the Class of 2016 for Cards

The University of Louisville has landed commitment No. 21 in the Class of 2016. Atlanta Mays linebacker Tobias Little - a former Missouri commitment - has given the Cardinals' staff a verbal commitment.

Atlanta Mays High School linebacker Tobias Little said he knew after leaving his official visit to the University of Louisville on Monday that the Cardinals' program was a place he could spend his college career.

So, on Wednesday Little ended his recruitment.

"The official visit poushed them over the top for me," Little told Cardinal Authority. "I just loved everything about Louisville. I loved the campus, the school, the coaches and the players. It's where I knew I wanted to be."

The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Little, who said his main recruiter is Garrick McGee, had planned visits to Wake Forest, Auburn and Georgia Southern. He's a former commitment to Missouri but said he's not taking any other visits now.

"Louisville is it," Little said. "I have to go in and work hard and hopefully I can play early."

Little is friends with current U of L cornerback Shaq Wiggins, who was his host on the visit.

Little, is considered a physical linebacker who is likely to play inside at the next level. He's reported personal bests of 4.53 seconds in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 10’2” standing broad jump, and a maximum in the bench press of 350 pounds, and a 520-pound squat max.

Prior to his commitment to Missouri Little had a dozen offers, including U of L, North Carolina, Iowa, N.C. State, Clemson and Virginia Tech.
