The University of Louisville football staff will have a former U of L commitment on campus this weekend with more than a dozen other prospects on official visits, just days before national signing day.

Waterford, Mich., Mott four-star wide receiver Desmond Fitzpatrick confirmed on Monday night that he will visit Louisville.

Fitzpatrick recently narrowed his list to U of L, Nebraska, Indiana and Arizona. He has visited Nebraska and Indiana but isn't expected to make a visit to Arizona before making his college decision.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Fitzpatrick said he will make his college decision on Feb. 1 at 2 o'clock.

Fitzpatrick is ranked as the No. 213 prospect in the Scout300.

As a senior, Fitzpatrick was named MLive Detroit Overall Player of the Year after catching 60 passes for 1,317 yards and 23 touchdowns.
