Louisville will close out the final weekend of the recruiting cycle hosting an impressive group of prospects on official visits.
More than a dozen recruits from seven different states will make their way to Louisville on Friday to begin their official visits, taking in one final trip before making their college decision final on National Signing Day next week.
Among the group is a number of U of L commitments, highlighted by Columbis (Ga.) Carver quarterback Jawon Pass. The four-star prospect is a Scout 300 member and is projected to be the highest-rated member of the 2016 class. Committed to U of L since July, Pass has climbed in the ratings throughout his senior year and is currently the nation's No. 10 quarterback.
Other Cardinal commitments expected to be on campus this weekend include Louisville Male wide receiver Keion Wakefield and outside linebacker P.J. Blue of Montgomery, Ala.
The Louisville coacing staff will also welcome a number of prospects that could fill one of the few remaining scholarship spots. One-time Cardinal commit, four-star wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick, along linebacker Emmett Rice, a Florida State commit, and former Miami commit, cornerback James Wiggins are among the those visiting.
