Miami Norland linebacker Emmett Rice has been committed to Florida State for almost a year.
But in the next 48 hours, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Rice said he has a "really tough" decisin to make after what he called a "very good and informative" official visit this weekend the Louisville.
"I really enjoyed myself," Rice said. "I make my final decision on Monday or Tuesday. It's going to be hard. I like Florida State but at the same time the things I experienced at Louisville were really good.
"Really, I don't know what to do. I just have to sit down with my mom and pray, make a list of the pros and cons with Florida State and Louisville and see what I come up with."
Rice said he is also still considering West Virginia.
Ranked as the No. 35 outside linebacker in the country, Rice said all the Miami connections to Louisville program "might play" a factor in his decision. He said he knows of a lot of guys who have played at Louisville and former U of L linebacker Keith Brown was also a standout at Norland when he was in high school.
"There's a lot of guys there from South Florida," he said. "But I also really like the fact they talk about how they have guys from everywhere. They have guys from Texas, Mississippi, Florida and Georgia. They get people from all over."
One of the top players in Dade County, Rice said one thing at Louisville will make him think long and hard.
"I really like all the coaches and the players there," Rice said. "It's a really nice place and there's an opportunity for early playing time and that's key for me. I want to be able to have that chance early."
