Georgia offensive lineman Robbie Bell signs with Louisville; has been committed to the Cardinals mid-April

Hoschton, Ga., Mill Creek offensive lineman Robbie Bell was one of the first commitments in the Class of 2016 for Louisville. Bell has signed his paperwork and is a member of the Cardinals' program.

Hoschton, Ga., Mill Creek High School offensive lineman Robbie Bell wasn't sure he'd be able to sleep much last night.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Bell didn't have a huge decision to make because he committed to the University of Louisville in mid-April. No, Bell was just excited for his big day.

"I'm so excited," he said. "It's one step closer to me being there. I can't wait."

Bell committed to Louisville last spring but made a bunch of visits to see the Cardinals play during the season and then made his official visit in December. He stayed 100 percent committed the entire time.

Bell is a three-star prospect from Hoschton, Ga., Mill Creek High School. He had more than 35 pancake blocks as a senior as Mill Creek finished the season 13-1 and lost in the state semifinals.

"I think this is going to be a good class and I'm excited to be part of it," Bell said. "We're going to do something special."
