Caleb Tillman gave a verbal commitment to the University of Louisville in July and shut down his recruitment. On Wednesday, Tillman was able to sign with the Cardinals and his high school coach said U of L fans have reason to be excited.
Dothan, Ala., Northview High School coach LaBrian Stewart said the Cardinals are "getting such a good one."
"He's so strong, so versatile and just so coachable," Stewart said. "And the best thing is that his best days are still ahead of him. He was double and triple-teamed so many times, he won't get that at the next level.
"Louisville is getting a very good one."
The 6-foot-3, 250-pound Tillman was also named Class 6-A All-State honorable mention in Alabama. He's expected to be able to come in right away and help the Cardinals' on the defensive front.
"The coaches told me I can play right away, it's up to me," Tillman said. "I'm excited to get there."
Cardinal Authority will keep you posted on all of the Louisville signees throughout the day.
