Louisville has signed another standout from Georgia - Carrollton High School defensive end Mike Boykin

Carrollton, Ga., High School defensive end Michael Boykin has signed with the University of Louisville. Boykin is considered one of the prospects with the most potential in the Class of 2016 for Bobby Petrino's staff.

Carrollton, Ga., defensive end Michael Boykin had a long list of suitors coming after him in recruiting.

The 6-foot-7, 270-pound Boykin had a list of offers than included Auburn, Clemson and Florida among a list of about 20 offers. But in the end he opted to sign with the University of Louisville.

Boykin committed to U of L over Auburn in July and re-affirmed his commitment several times.

"I loved everything about them," Boykin said about U of L. "I just really liked the coaches and everything. I can't wait to get there."

Boykin was considered an Auburn 'lean' just a few weeks before he committed. He attended U of L's "Friday Night Lights" camp in July and said he was sold on the Cardinals' then.

While he said other schools stayed after him the whole time, Boykin said he was "always all in."
