Columbus, Ga., four-star quarterback Jawon Pass has signed with the Louisville Cardinals; ranked No. 192 in the Scout300

It's finally official. The University of Louisville has signed four-star quarterback Jawon Pass of Columbus, Ga., Carver High School. He's ranked as the No. 192 prospect in the country by Scout.com.

University of Louisville football coach Bobby Petrino wanted another highly-regarded quarterback in this recruiting class.

And he got it.

Columbus, Ga., Carver High School four-star quaretrback Jawon Pass picked the Cardinals over Auburn and Alabama back in July and then picked the Cardinals over Alabama again last month.

On Wednesday, Pass signed with the Cardinals.

Pass’ brother Khane is a safety who just completed his first season at U of L, and is expected to be a contributor to the Cardinals' program next season. Jawon Pass said his brother wasn't the main reason he went to U of L but "it helped."

"I just love it at Louisville and that's where I want to be," Pass said.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Pass - who is the No. 192 ranked player in the Scout300 - was a U.S. Army All-American. Pass is the highest-ranked player in the U of L class and helped his team to a 9-2 record as a senior.
