Owen Pappoe is getting used to the scholarship offers.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound linebacker from Loganville, Ga., Grayson High School is one of the top 2019 prospects nationally and picked up his 22nd scholarship offer on Saturday. He was offered by the University of Louisville.
Pappoe said he feels "blessed" to have all the offers and is excited about each one.
"I still have to keep working," he said. "I can't be satisfied."
Pappoe was expected to make a visit to Louisville for Junior Day on Saturday but said he had some travel issues and will come at another time. He was at U of L last April for the Spring Game.
He said he watched the Cardinals and Todd Grantham's defense and was excited about the offer.
"It was awesome," Pappoe said. "I made it up last year for the spring game and it was real nice. I like the program and the defense."
Pappoe made plays on the varsity level as a freshman this past season at Grayson and the colleges have taken notice. He started getting offers last spring and now has almost two dozen.
He picked up the first one from Tennessee and now also has offers from Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan and TCU among others. He told cardinal Authority that he's keeping all of his options open at this point.
