It's only fitting the 1986 NCAA national championship team from the University of Louisville will celebrate a 30-year reunion when the current Cardinals' play Duke on Feb. 20 in the KFC Yum Center.

It was Duke that the Cardinals downed 72-69 in the 1986 title game.

The Cardinals, coached by Hall of Famer Denny Crum, won the school's second national title that season. Crum said he expects about 11 players to return for the reunion on Feb. 20.

Louisville will honor the team at halftime and then the team will have a meet-and-greet at Bearno's just across from the Yum Center. The group will also gather later in the day at Captain's Quarters for a dinner.

Crum and former players Robbie Valentine and Milt Wagner spoke about the reunion on Tuesday.
