The first member of Louisville's 2015 recruiting class once again holds a scholarship offer from the Cardinals.
Confusing? Let me explain.
Safety T.J. Jallow committed to Louisville as a three-star prospect out of Olive Branch, Miss., in April 2014, but unable to quality spent his freshman season as East Mississippi Community College. Following a season that saw him play in nine games, registering 24 tackles and an interception, Jallow began to once again draw interest from college coaches.
Mississippi State, Georgia expressed an interest, and Southern Miss has extended a scholarship offer. Throughout the process, Jallow and U of L remained in contact and on Thursday afternoon he added an offer from Louisville.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Jallow was rated among the nation's top 100 safeties by Scout.com and No. 39 in the South Region. He was selected as a Mississippi All-Star and was First Team All-Area following his senior season at Olive Hill.
Jallow announced on Twitter that he has committed to the Cardinals, which would make him the first member of the 2017 class.
