Louisville has offered New Orleans star Tevin Bush, who made a visit last weekend for Junior Day with the Cardinals

The University of Louisville football staff has offered a scholarship to one of the top player in New Orleans - Tevin Bush. The standout athlete from the Class of 2017 made a trip to Louisville for Junior Day last weekend.

The University of Louisville football staff has tried to get deeper into the state of Louisiana in recruiting, noting the state is loaded with talent.

And the 2017 class is no different.

The Cardinals have offered several prospects in the ’17 class in Louisiana and one of those top prospects - New Orleans Landry Walker athlete Tevin Bush - was on campus last weekend.

The 5-foot-8, 170-pound Bush was at Junior Day and said he “loved everything about it.”

“The coaches said they had been looking forward to seeing me,” Bush said. “I really enjoyed it. I had a good time and liked the campus a lot.”

Bush said he’s right around 10 offers, includuing Cincinnati, Tulane, Texas Tech, Louisiana-Lafeyette and his newest coming from West Virginia, Kansas and Arkansas.

He said he has been compared to former West Virginia star and current NFL player Tavon Austin.

Bush said he would likely camp at Louisville this summer.
