The University of Louisville women's basketball team just keeps on winning.
The Cardinals won for the 20th time in 21 games on Thursday night, blasting No. 17 Miami 79-15 in Coral Gables, Fla. The Cardinals (23-6, 14-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) broke the game open with a 20-2 surge that ended the second quarter and clinched the No. 2 seed in the ACC Tournament that begins next Wednesday in Greensboro, N.C.
Myishia Hines-Allen scored seven of her team-high 15 pointy points during the second-quarter surge and Asia Durr's layup at the buzzer heading into halftime made the scored 40-21.
Louisville held Miami (22-6, 10-5) without a field goal the final 7:43 of the half.
Mariya Moore added 14 points and Briahanna Jackson chipped in 13 with Durr scoring 11.
Louisville finished the season 8-0 on the road in the ACC and will host Pittsburgh on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. - Star Wars day - in the regular-season finale at the KFC Yum Center.
