It was Star Wars Day at the KFC Yum Center and the force was with the Cardinals.
Louisville's women's basketball team dusted Pittsburgh with a domionating first-half effort that led to a 65-36 victory before over 11,000 fans in the final game of the regular season. The Cardinals had no seniors on this team, so there was no senior day.
But sophomore Myisha Hines-Allen led the Cardinals again.
The sophomore forward had 25 points and 13 rebounds - collecting her third double-double in the last five games - made her fist nien shots of the game. She finished the game 11 of 13 from the field.
Briahanna Jackson added 12 points on 5 of 7 from the field as the Cardinals hit 17 of 25 from the field in the first half and led 42-10.
The Cardinals are now 24-6 on the season - after starting 1-4 - and finish ACC play at 15-1. U of L lands the No. 2 seed in the ACC Tournament for this week in Greensboro and will play the Georgia Tech-Wake Forest-Clemson survivor on Friday at 6 p.m.
