Louisville signee Caleb Tillman from Dothan, Ala., said he can't wait to join the Louisville defense after watching the spring game

University of Louisville signee Caleb Tillman from Dothan, Ala., said he can't wait to join the Louisville defense after watching the spring game. Tillman said he will arrive on campus on May 30.

Dothan, Ala., Northview High School defensive stalwart Caleb Tillman has just over a month until he arrives on campus for his freshman year at the University of Louisville.

And Tillman said he can't wait to get going.

The 6-foot-3, 250-pound Tillman was in town last weekend for the U of L spring game and said he was so impressed with the Cardinals' that he's pumped to get back and see where he fits in.

"It's gonna be great," Tillman said. "It was a great experience to be there and I love the fan support."

Tillman was one of about 15 signees and six or seven future walk-ons at the spring game and said he had an opportunity to get to know a few of his future teammates.

"We were all talking on the sidelines about the school and how excited we are to get up there," he said. "It will be fun."

Tillman was named Class 6-A All-State honorable mention in Alabama as a senior. He's expected to be able to come in right away and help the Cardinals' on the defensive front.
