The University of Louisville baseball team tied a school-record with 46 regular-season wins.
And now the Cardinals are prepared for the postseason.
Louisville (46-10), which has won nine straight games, won the Atlantic Division of the ACC Conference and will be the No. 2 seed in the ACC Tournament, which begins on Tuesday in Durham, N.C.
The Cardinals will be in Pool B with Virginia, Clemson, Duke and Wake Forest.
U of L opens the ACC Tournament on Wednesday night at 7 o'clock against the winner of the Duke-Wake Forest game and then meets Clemson on Friday at 11 a.m.
The Cardinals final game is Saturday at 7 p.m.
The ACC title game between the top team in Pool A vs. the top team in Pool B is at noon on Sunday.
Louisville is currently the No. 1 team in the RPI rankings and considered by most experts as a lock to be a national seed, which means they would host the Regional and Super Regional, when the NCAA Tournament field is announced on Memorial Day.
