Former five-star offensive tackle Charles Baldwin is currently on a visit to the University of Louisville.

The 6-foot-6, 305-pound Baldwin confirmed he arrived at U of L on Tuesday night and will be on campus today for more of his visit. He was dismissed from the team at Alabama earlier this month.

Baldwin, who has also visited Temple, was the No. 3 player in the junior college ranks in the Class of 2016. He is from Windsor, Conn., and played junior-college ball at ASA College in New York City.

Baldwin arrived at Alabama in January and participated in spring practice but was dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules on May 12. A source told Scout.com that Louisville would have room for him to come on scholarship.

A NJCAA All-American selection, Baldwin had an offer from Florida State coming out of high school. He picked Alabama over Oklahoma and others when he signed in January.
