Louisville offers 2018 forward Nassir Little of Orange Park, Fla.; the Cardinals recruiting the state of Florida hard in '17 and '18

Orange Park, Fla., Oak Leaf High School 2018 standout forward Nassir Little has added a scholarship offer from the University of Louisville. Little is a rising prospect in the '18 class and plays for Showtime Hoops.

The University of Louisville basketball staff has been very active in the state of Florida.

The Cardinals have been recruiting and have offered a number of prospects from the Sunshine State in the Class of 2017 and '18 with the latest a rising star from the '18 class.

Orange Park, Fla., Oak Leaf High School forward Nassir Little announced he has an offer from the Cardinals.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pound Little also holds offers from Florida, Florida State, George Washington, Miami, USC, Central Florida and Stetson. He was one of the more impressive 2018 prospects during the Under Armour Association's event in Indianapolis last month playing for his AAU team  - Showtime Hoops.

“I’m pretty skilled shooting from the midrange area,” Little told Scout.com's Josh Gershon. "I can step out and hit threes. I like to get out in transition because I’m athletic and long. I love playing defense. I’m working on my ball handling and shooting from range."

As of now, Little isn’t in a rush to make a decision.

“I’m only 16 so I’m still young,” he said. “I want to up my recruitment first and then I’ll make a decision.”
