It's a big recruiting weekend for the University of Louisville football staff.
The Cardinals will have a ton of prospects on campus for camps and will also be hosting as many as six prospects for visits, including several of the Cardinals' top targets from the state of Florida.
Among those will be Miramar, Fla., safety Brian Edwards, who has Louisville listed in his final five along with Miami, Fla., Syracuse, North Carolina and Kentucky. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Edwards is considered the No. seven safety in the Sunshine State.
Edwards was a standout recent at The Opening Miami.
Delray Beach, Fla., American Heritage cornerback Jarques McClellion will also be visiting. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound McClellion lists Michigan State and Kentucky as his leaders but has over 20 scholarship offers.
McClellion had 38 tackles and seven interceptions as a junior. He's also looking at Nebraska, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Arkansas and USF.
Tallahassee, Fla., North Florida Christian defensive end Michael Scott will also be a visitor this weekend.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Scott has over 30 offers, including U of L, Syracuse, Purdue, Syracuse, ECU, Cincinnati, Illinois, Iowa State, Georgia Tech, Memphis, Southern Miss, Northwestern, USF, UCF, Temple, Utah and more.
Caleb Rozar is a strong safety from Dickson, Tenn., County High School with about seven offers will also make the trip up to visit. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Rozar also has offers from Kentucky, North Carolina and Mississippi State.
Rozar is a three-star prospect and ranks as the No. 2 athlete in the state of Tennessee.
Another Florida star visiting is Miramar cornerback Kaheem Roach, who is a fast-rising prospect in South Florida. He also has offers from Auburn, LSU and Illinois.
Roach is a 6-foot-3, 180-pound cornerback who has a sensational spring for Miramar.
Tallahassee, Fla., Godby defensive tackle/tight end Antwan Owens doesn't hold an offer from U of L but is visiting and has been a fast-rising prospect with several offers in recent weeks.
The 6-foot-3, 285-pound Owens had listed UCF, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Maryland, USF, Indiana, Tulane, Purdue, East Carolina and Iowa State as his finalists a few weeks ago.
