Ohio running back Brenden Knox has a teammate at Louisville; Knox came to Louisville's camp last weekend and was impressive in drills

University of Louisville current freshman Seth Dawkins has a former teammate - running back Brenden Knox - who has been to U of L's campus several times recently, including last weekend for camp. Knox is under the radar a bit but performed well at the camp.

Columbus, Ohio, Franklin Heights High School running back Brenden Knox has stayed under the radar a bit in recruiting.

But Knox is hoping his performance last weekend at the University of Louisville's camp will spark some interest.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Knox, who is a former teammate of 2016 U of L signee Seth Dawkins, said the U of L staff told him after the camp they were "impressed with me in my drills and agility."

"I felt as if everything went well," Knox said. "I got to show off my hands receiving out've the backfield and maneuverability in the holes."

Knox also came to Louisville's Junior Day in February and was at the Spring Game in April.

Knox said Indiana, Ohio U., Michigan State and Old Dominion are other schools in the mix. As a junior, Knox carried 241 times for 1,713 yards and 18 touchdowns at Franklin Heights.
