Louisville has landed a commitment from Belfry High School offensive lineman Cole Bentley; one of the state's top 2017 prospects

The University of Louisville football staff has landed a big in-state commitment on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals got a verbal pledge from Belfry High School offensive lineman Cole Bentley. He had 25 offers and picked the Cardinals.

Belfry High School defensive tackle Cole Bentley has committed to the University of Louisville football team.

"They told me they loved my athleticism, feet and hips and said they want me to be a Cardinal," Bentley said two weeks ago when the Cardinals' became his 25th scholarship offer.

Bentley has been recruited by U of L offensive line coach Chris Klenakis.

The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Bentley also had offers from Georgia Tech, Virginia, Colorado State, Cincinnati, Memphis, Purdue, Air Force, Marshall, Toledo and plenty of others.

He's one of the elite 2017 prospects in the state of Kentucky.
