It was a tough ending to the season for the Louisville baseball team.

The Cardinals end with a 50-14 record and second straight crushing defeat at home in the NCAA Super Regionals, a 4-3 loss to UC Santa Barbara at Jim Patterson Stadium on Sunday.

Freshman pinch hitter Sam Cohen put UC Santa Barbara into its first College World Series with a pinch-hit grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning off All-American closer Zack Burdi.
