IMG WR names top seven
IMG Academy three-star wide receiver Emmanuel Greene narrowed his list to seven schools, including Louisville.
The 5-foot-9, 165-pound Greene is the No. 16 wide receiver in the state of Florida and No. 90 overall.
Greene's list also includes, UCLA, Maryland, Central Florida, West Virginia, Nebraska and Texas A&M. He's an electric wide receiver with a lot of speed and great hands.
Tennessee DT has Louisville in top seven
Nashville, Tenn., Hillsboro defensive tackle Ben Hutch has narrowed his list to seven and Louisville made the cut.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Hutch recently made an unofficial visit to U of L and is close friends with current Louisville commitment Rodney Owens of Nashville, Tenn., Ensworth.
Hutch also lists Texas A&M, Missouri, Memphis, Tennessee, Mississippi State and Nebraska.
U of L makes list for speedy Florida WR
Another speedy wide receiver from Florida narrowed his list and Louisville made the cut.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla., St. Thomas Aquinas wide receiver Michael Harley Jr. has Louisville on the list with West Virginia, Michigan, Washington, Utah, Wisconsin, Maryland, Missouri, Kentucky and Miami.
Harley runs a 4.39 40-yard dash.
Georgia WR visiting this weekend
Roswell, Ga., wide receiver Corey Reed said he will visit the Louisville campus on Saturday.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Reed is a three-star prospect with offers from U of L, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami and Wake Forest and he's also hearing from Georgia and a bunch of other schools.
Reed is the No. 60 wide receiver in the country.
Top 2018 LBer camps at Louisville
Highstown, N.J. The Peddie School 2018 linebacker Javar Garrett spent time at Louisville camp last weekend and the staff spent a lot of time watching and chatting with the potential star.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Garrett already has offers from Indiana, Rutgers, Monmouth and Temple with likely plenty more on the way.
Garrett, who also camped at Penn State this week, was impressive in one-on-one drills against the wide receivers.
"They haven't offered yet but coach (Todd) Grantham told be ready for the call in the next few days," Garrett said, "I feel like I performed really well and especially with covering the wide receivers in the stadium."
Tennessee '18 OL makes visit
Cordova, Tenn., St. Benedict's 2018 offensive lineman Jerome Carvin made an unofficial visit to Louisville on Tuesday with several other prospects from the state of Tennessee.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Carvin claims an offer from U of L and said the Cardinals are his early favorite.
"The visit went great," he said. "The facilities are some of the best in the nation. The staff said they want me to be a Cardinal."
Tennessee OL strong at U of L camp
Corryton, Tenn., Gibbs 2018 lineman Dalton Widner was impressive last weekend at U of L's camp.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Widner was a standout on a day when the U of L staff had several recruitable linemen on campus working out. He was very solid in one-on-one drills with the defensive line and moves well for a big kid.
Widner said he doesn't have an offer yet but said he has several smaller schools talking about an offer.
"I have a lot of schools showing interest in me," Widner said.
