Quade Green, one of the elite point guard prospects in the Class of 2017, still has Louisville high on his recruiting list

Philadelphia standout point guard Quade Green, one of the elite prospects in the Class of 2017, is making some visits this week. But Green said he still has the University of Louisville high on his recruiting list.

Philadelphia St. John Neumann point guard Quade Green is one of the best point guards in the Class of 2017. He's been sensational on the EYBL circuit for the PSA Cardinals, helping them to a 14-2 record.

The 6-foot, 175-pound Green has offers from most of the elite schools in the country. Green is visiting Duke today and he said a Kentucky visit is also on tap soon but noted he's still "looking at a lot of schools."

"It never gets too old," Green said of the recruiting process. "I'm excited about it because you only get this one time. I know a lot of people probably wish they were in my positions, so I'm enjoying it."

Green said the University of Louisville is also "very much" in the mix in his recruitment and said he hopes to make a visit to see the Cardinals' campus this summer. He also wants to visit Michigan State and Xavier.

"I want to see some schools this summer," he said. "I want to check out a few other places also."

Green said he has chatted with Rick Pitino on a few occasions and also talks with assistant coach Kenny Johnson.

"Yes, they fit my style of play," he said about U of L. "Everything runs through the guards. I really like that system."

Green, ranked as the No. 25 player overall in the Scout.com rankings, said he wants to make a commitment by September. He's averaging 14.1 points and 10.5 assists a game in the EYBL sessions.
