Louisville offers Las Vegas offensive lineman Edgar Burrola, who is currently committed to Arizona

The University of Louisville football staff has been recruiting the West Coast harder in recent years, including a commitment in the Class of 2017 from Las Vegas Desert Pines offensive lineman Poutasi Poutasi. Now, the Cardinals have offered his teammate - Edgar Burrola. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound Burrola is currently committed to Arizona.

Las Vegas Desert Pines offensive lineman Edgar Burrola has only been committed to Arizona for two weeks.

But since his commitment to the Wildcats, the 6-foot-6, 295-pound Burrola has been picking up more interest. He's been hearing from some other colleges and after a weekend satellite camp landed another offer.

Burrola was offered on Monday afternoon by the University of Louisville.

"This offer means a lot," said Burrola, who confirmed U of L was in attendance at the camp on Saturday. "It tells me I am getting better every day and doing better at camps."

Burrola projects as an offensive guard in college. He's high school teammates with U of L offensive line commitment Poutasi Poutasi, who has been in his ear about Louisville.

"PJ is really big on Louisville," Burrola said.

Both players are being recruited by U of L offensive line coach Chris Klenakis.
