Trey Lewis is getting an opportunity to play for the World Champions.
Lewis, a former University of Louisville guard, will play for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Las Vegas Summer League that begins on July 8. Lewis is from Cleveland and played for Cleveland State before coming to Louisville.
Lewis started in the Cardinals backcourt for his lone season in Louisville last year and averaged 11.3 points and 2.3 assists a game. He was second on the team in scoring and second with 46 three-point field goals.
He scored 1,514 career points in his collegiate career, including his stints at Penn State and Cleveland State.
