The University of Louisville had made an offer to one another of the recent Kentucky de-commitments.
The Cardinals extended an offer on Friday to three-star Toledo, Ohio, Central Catholic High School defensive end James Hudson. He now has 21 scholarship offers and had been committed to UK until he re-opened the recruiting process last month.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Hudson, who plays at the same high school that produced current U of L tight end Keith Towbridge, ranks as the No. 30 defensive end in the country and No. 1 in Ohio, according to Scout.com.
He had already visited Michigan and Michigan State in recent weeks and is expected to visit U of L next month.
U of L is also after former UK commitment Russ Yeast of Greenwood, Ind., whose father - Craig - played at Kentucky.
