With as many as five scholarships available for the Class of 2017, the University of Louisville basketball staff has targeted a large number of prospects in the class - including several top post players and a few of the elite point guards.

Louisville's staff will hit the road on Wednesday - the first of three evaluation periods this July - without a commitment but with four of its top targets having made unofficial visits in recent weeks.

Fort Wayne, Ind., big man Malik Williams and Indianapolis guard Paul Scruggs both made visits in early June, while Washington, D.C., big man Luka Garza and Westtown, Pa., guard Brandon Randolph made visits last week.

Those are potentially among the top targets for the Cardinals' staff while two newer names on the list - Darius Perry and Savion Flagg will be evaluated this week by the staff.
