A recap of day three of the second evaluation period of the summer for the University of Louisville basketball staff

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. - The second of three evaluation periods is going on this week and the University of Louisville basketball staff spent time at several different events on Friday. Here's a recap of the prospects the Cardinals saw on Friday.

University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino was off the road on Friday, attending the wedding of Brian Jurich, the son of athletic director Tom Jurich, out in Colorado.

But Pitino's staff was still all over the South.

U of L assistant coach Kenny Johnson spent the first two days of the second evaluation period in Washington D.C. at the Oladipo Skills Academy, but made his way to Aiken, S.C., on Friday for the Peach State Classic.

Johnson tracked top point guard target Makai Ashton-Langford and several other younger prospects.

The other two U of L assistants were in the Atlanta-area.

Mike Balado and David Padgett saw point guard target Darius Perry twice at the Champions Summer Classic, while watching Malik Williams - the staffs top post player target - twice in the Under Armour finals.

The two also saw Team Breakdown - 2018 targets Anfernee Simons and Elijah Weaver - several times and also watched some youngsters.
