Tyrone Sampson, a Scout300 member in the Class of 2018 from Detroit, enjoyed his trip to Louisville; he camped with the Cards on Friday

Tyrone Sampson, one of the top 300 prospects nationally in the Class of 2018, made an unofficial visit and attended camp at the University of Louisville on Friday night. Sampson talks about his experience with Cardinal Authority.

Tyrone Sampson is one of the elite football prospects in the Class of 2018.

The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Sampson from Detroit East English Village Prep is ranked as the No. 2 center nationally in the '18 class and checks in as the No. 262-ranked overall prospect in the country.

And on Friday night, Sampson proved his talent level at Louisville's Light Up The Ville Camp. Sampson was one of the top offensive line prospects at the camp, which featured more than 90 total prospects.

"I think I preformed well at camp," Sampson told Cardinal Authority. "I got to talk to the offensive line coach (Chris Klenakis) and he said he will keep in touch. He said he really like me as a center and he didn't know I was going into my 11th grade year.

"They said they will definitely keep in touch."

Sampson, who won MVP honors at the Chi Showcase in March, already has eight offers. He has offers from Syracuse, Western Michigan, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Akron, Central Michigan, Ohio U. and Toledo.
