Since backing off his pledge to Miami, Jacksonville, Fla., The Bolles School safety Ahman Ross has been getting a ton of interest and recently talked about making a few visits in the coming weeks.
On Friday, Ross made one of those visits to the University of Louisville.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound three-star prospect was a standout on the defensive side of the ball on Friday at Louisville's Light Up The Ville camp. He worked several times against Louisville Trinity top junior Rondale Moore.
"I feel I had a great showing," Ross said. "The coaches were great too, they were intense and energetic. They loved my technique and how I went through drills, one-on-one and seven-on-seven.
"I really liked it a lot and overall it was a great experience."
A rising senior that's tabbed as Scout's No. 9 safety in Florida, Ross is also expected to make visits to Kentucky and Indiana. Ross has a total of 13 offers, including the latest from West Virginia.
Ross had 73 tackles, including 15 tackles for a loss, and two interceptions as a junior for The Bolles.
