Louisville just offered Lance Thomas 10 days ago and the Cardinals made his final four on Tuesday; he's a 6-9 PF from Norcross, Ga.

The University of Louisville basketball staff just offered Norcross, Ga., power forward Lance Thomas over a week ago. On Tuesday, the 6-foot-10 Thomas listed the Cardinals, along with Miami, Florida and USC, in his final four.

Just 10 days after getting a scholarship offer from the University of Louisville, Norcross, Ga., power forward Lance Thomas has narrowed his list to four schools and the Cardinals' made the cut.

Thomas tweeted his list on Tuesday, narrowing his choices to Louisville, Miami, Florida and USC.

U of L coach Rick Pitino offered Team United shooting guard Alex O'Connell two Fridays and the next day extended an offer to his Team United teammate Thomas, a 6-foot-10 power forward.

"They're both opening a lot of eyes," Team United coach Cedric Canty said. "With (Thomas), a lot of people in Georgia knew about him but not many folks outside of the state of Georgia knew. His upside is out of this world."

Thomas has 25 scholarship offers, including recent ones from North Carolina State, Oklahoma and Mississippi State. He made an unofficial visit to Mississippi in mid-June.

He's expected to play in Orlando, Fla., this week with Team United in the AAU Super Showcase and is likely to make his official visits to the four schools in August before making a decision.
