Louisville assistant coach Mike Balado was on the move on Friday, while Rick Pitino and the other assistants stayed put in Orlando and Las Vegas for the third day of the third evaluation period of the summer.
Balado was in Miami on Friday watching Team Breakdown and Class of 2018 top targets Elijah Weaver and Anfernee Simons and also checking out another '18 target - Nassir Little. Weaver played well in the two Team Breakdown games and was offered by Miami.
Pitino stayed put in Orlando and watched Malik Williams lead his Team Legit squad to a win in the AAU Super Showcase. Williams will play again on Saturday in the semifinals of the 11th Grade Gold Division.
Kenny Johnson and David Padgett remain in Las Vegas and saw Romeo Langford drop 40 points in a game for Eric Gordon All-Stars.
The coaches also stayed on track with top point guard targets Makai Ashton-Langford and Darius Perry, while Padgett also watched Trinity stars Jay Scrubb and David Johnson twice with the Louisville Magic 15s team.
The U of L staff will remain on the road for the final two days of the evaluation period.
