The two teamed at Madison, Miss, Central High School and could be future teammates.

"Trey and I go way back," Hayes said. "I really enjoyed myself. I like a lot of things about Louisville but I really like how they develop their guys and send them to the next level."

The 6-foot-6, 330-pound Hayes has already made a visit to Arkansas and was planning to visit Cincinnati but said now he might not make any more trips before the season. He's also hearing from Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State and Iowa State.

Hayes has one season left at JUCO before he plans to enroll at a four-year school in December.

"It's all pretty cool right now and I am enjoying myself a lot," Hayes said. "I have some really good schools showing me interest. (Louisville) said they need a guy like me who can come in and help right away."
