Louisville has offered elite 2018 point guard Immanuel Quickley, who was a star in July for the Baltimore Elite squad

The University of Louisville is the latest to offer elite 2018 point guard Immanuel Quickley, who had a sensational summer for Baltimore Elite. The 6-foot-3 Quickley is from Bel Air, Md.

The University of Louisville basketball staff extended a few offers to younger players on Tuesday, including elite 2018 point guard Immanuel Quickley, who impressed the staff last week in Las Vegas for Baltimore Elite.

The 6-foot-3 Quickley, who is from Bel Air, Md., and plays for the John Carroll School, now has more than 15 scholarship offers, including U of L, Maryland, Miami, Villanova, Arizona, Cincinnati, Texas A&M, UCLA and others.

Quickley also has had interest from Duke and Kentucky among others.

A member of the USA Basketball U-17 team, Quickley helped lead the U.S. to a gold medal in June and then was a star on the AAU scene for Baltimore Elite the last three weeks.

A rising junior at John Carroll, Quickley was named The Baltimore Sun's All-Metro Player of the Year for the 2015-16 season. He averaged 17.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.5 steals a game in his first season as a full-time starter.
