Louisville extends a basketball scholarship to Brewster Academy small forward Sid Wilson; the 6-6 Wilson is a member of the 2018 class

After watching him have a banner summer, the University of Louisville basketball staff extended an offer on Tuesday evening to Wolfeboro, N.H., Brewster Academy small forward Sid Wilson.

It's been a big few months for Sid Wilson.

The Class of 2018 small forward from Wolfeboro, N.H., Brewster Academy had a solid spring and then turned it on even more this summer, beginning with a big-time effort in the Under Armour All-American camp.

A native of the Bronx, N.Y., Wilson continued his banner play for his New Heights AAU team in recent weeks. The U of L staff had a chance to evaluate him last week in Las Vegas.

Wilson also landed an offer from Texas on Tuesday, adding the two new offers to ones he already had from Indiana, St. John's, Memphis, Cincinnati, UNLV and SMU among others.

Wilson attended St. Raymond's in the Bronx until March when he reclassified from 2017 into the '18 class and transferred to Brewster, where current U of L star Donovan Mitchell was a standout player.
