University of Louisville women's basketball head coach Jeff Walz received a key commitment on Saturday.
One of the elite players both in-state and nationally, Bullitt East point guard Lindsey Duvall announced her commitment to the Cardinals program. A one-time Kentucky commit, Duvall also considered Michigan before choosing Louisville.
Duvall, who missed a portion of her junior season following the removal of a tumor near her left knee, averaged 18.7 point and eight rebounds in seven outings as a junior. She is rated among the nation's top point guards and is a top 50 prospect.
Duvall joins Loretta Kakala as members of the 2017 recruiting class. Kakala is rated as the No. 2 post prospect nationally by ESPN.
