Louisville head coach met with media prior to program's annual kickoff luncheon

Prior to visiting with a sold-out kickoff luncheon, U of L head coach Bobby Petrino provided a camp report to the media

The University of Louisville football program held its annual Kickoff Luncheon on Friday afternoon.  Prior to speaking with the sold-out Grand Ballroom at the Downtown Marriott, Cardinals head coach spent ten minutes providing a camp progress report to the assembled media.

Following a few weeks of camp, focusing on improving fundamentals and learning the playbook, the Cardinals will begin focusing on their season-opening opponent when they return to practice next week.

Louisville opens the 2016 season on Thursday, Sept., 1 when it welcomes Charlotte to Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
