University of Louisville sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson is excited about the improvement in his game, especially in the down-field passing game for the coming season.
But there's something else that has Jackson excited - his wide receivers.
"There's a lot of weapons," Jackson said. "A lot of weapons that we are going to be able to use."
New co-offensive coordinator and wide receiver coach Lonnie Galloway said he's excited to see his group of receivers, which is eight or nine deep, hit the field for the season.
"I'm a practice coach to where you show me that you can do it in practice, then you'll get rewarded in playing in the game."
Seniors James Quick and Jamari Staples are the expected leaders with the Cardinals, while former quarterback Reggie Bonnafon is expected to be a major weapon from the receiver position.
